Are you one of those “all thumbs” women when it comes
to any type of sewing? Do you spend too much money at the dry cleaner whenever
a hem falls because you can’t thread a needle, let alone hem a skirt or a pant
leg?
You can repair a fallen hem yourself, and you don’t
have to hunt for a needle and thread to do it. Just purchase a roll of fusible
web tape (available at all fabric stores and most discount and craft stores.) Cut
a piece of web the length of the area that needs to be repaired. Slip it
between the fabric layers and iron according to the package directions.

It works great for slacks, Jane. Just make sure you follow the directions as far as iron temp and fusing time to get a bond that won't come undone.
